ABOUT CHRISTIAN HELLOFS
My aviation career began with an underlying passion for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic mechanics. I took the first step toward my aviation career at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics Myrtle Beach campus. Despite the challenges of the COVID shutdown, I completed the program with honors and earned my A&P. I used my new found knowledge to develop my early career at Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics Tech and later as an Airworthiness Inspector. My biggest achievement include contribution to G700 & G800 certification, airworthiness certification of dozens of Gulfstream aircraft across the entire line up, and the prevention of hundreds of quality escapes amounting to millions of dollars. In early 2025, I earned an associates in aviation maintenance from Horry Georgetown Technical College while working full time. The desire to further my education didn’t stop there as quickly enrolled in a bachelors program at Purdue. This pursuit of education triggered a career shift away from aviation maintenance and toward aviation management. I began a new position as an Aviation Maintenance Analyst at CAMP Systems International where I am responsible for managing the maintenance records, compliance, and tracking of a large fleet of Dassault Falcon corporate aircraft from around the world.
