About Christian Grebstad
With over 20 years of specialized experience in nuclear QA/QC within DOE and DOD environments, I have honed skills in developing, implementing, and managing robust nuclear quality programs and systems. This includes expertise in applying and managing standards such as ASME NQA-1 (across multiple editions and subparts), ASME Section DOE Order 414.1D/E, 10 CFR 830A, and 10 CFR 50B. I have also successfully established commercial quality programs compliant with ASME B & PVC, ISO 9001:2015 (AS9100), ISO 17025:2017, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, and various AWS standards, coupled with a deep understanding of manufacturing, construction, steel fabrication, welding, QC inspection, and nondestructive examination (NDE) processes. In leadership roles, I have managed quality teams within the nuclear supply chain for over 10 years, including serving as the INL Nuclear Quality Compliance Officer responsible for managing regulatory compliance with ORPS, NTS, and DOE O 226.1B. I have also acted as a certified/qualified NQA-1 Lead Auditor since 2010 and contributed as a member of the ASME NQA-1 Subcommittee for Assessment & Verification. Additionally, my career includes representing the Nuclear Industry Assessment Corporation (NIAC) as a Member Representative (2008–2023) and serving as a Security Manager (NNPICO) protecting Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) information (2007–2018), all while maintaining a DOE \"Q\" clearance—underscoring my commitment to high-level security and operational excellence.
