ABOUT CHRISTIAN GALVIS
Global Supply Chain Management is something that I always knew I was going to do, even before my time served in the United States Marine Corps. Listening to important business conversations between my father and my uncle about the intricacy of the field, it drew me in. Being involved in the development of a product from Point A to Point B excites me, and knowing what people want today, can lead to a very successful tomorrow. My Marine Corps experience has taught me important values that still carry with me today and will carry into the future. The Marine Corps instilled the value of mission accomplishment and seeing a project through from beginning to end. My time in the military taught me about community service and giving back. Over my 4 year Marine Corps career, I volunteered over 400 hours of volunteered service to the communities that were important to me, such as the USO, Dog shelters, and Homeless shelters. Volunteering has led to me being awarded the Presidential Volunteer Silver Service Medal for my dedication to giving back to the communities. I am currently seeking full-time positions in Global Supply Chain related roles that will help push me towards my goal of working in the Supply Chain industry immediately after I graduated in May 2021.
