ABOUT CHRISTIAN ELEAZARD
I am currently a Consultant with CPCS Transcom Ltd. I am trained both as a legal expert and an international development specialist, and have significant experience in undertaking legal and institutional research and analysis. Since joining CPCS, I have been involved in rail and port projects with a strong legal component and am currently working on the design and implementation of a legal and regulatory framework for Guinea’s mining ancillary infrastructures. Furthermore, I have prepared a number of comparative law reports on African countries, including Senegal and Guinea and have been actively involved in designing institutional structures for projects. Since 2017, I\'ve been working as Project Coordinator on the Integrated Infrastructure Transport Strategy (Stratégie Intégrée des Infrastructures de Transport Multimodal) in Cameroon. Prior to joining CPCS, I worked for the Senegalese Human Rights Organization where I carried out various social and legal analysis and helped manage a legal clinic. During my tenure, I also played a key role in procurement activities. Moreover, I have worked on improving the community cohesion of Haitian immigrants and Haitian descendants in Ottawa. I was the president of the Haitian Student Association of the University of Ottawa for 2 years and have participated in various community activities in order to improve the image of Haitian culture. I hold a Civil Law degree and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa.
