ABOUT CHRISTIAN DOVER

For decades, I’ve been building businesses that make the world a better place through critical infrastructure development in the $65.8 billion (CAD) construction industry. I’m very interested in architecture and building design, and my keenness in building construction began as a child assembling Lego block structures and later earning a degree in civil engineering. My engineering experience, complemented by my business strategy and business development capabilities, has helped to serve customers as both a general contractor and a specialty trade contractor. I’ve led many principal projects nationwide in industrial, commercial, institutional, heavy civil, and residential projects in this highly competitive and mature industry. Under my leadership and collaboration, my teams have created a nationwide footprint in both the private and public sectors for blue chip companies. I’ve driven performance as a P&L leader, M&A specialist, and health and safety expert while building strong operational teams. I enjoy developing trusting relationships with our employees, suppliers, and clients while delivering sustainable and profitable growth. I have deep domain experience in the heavy construction industry and understand the market landscape across many niche markets. From that position, I create and then deliver organic growth strategies, which include producing new services and lines of business while also leading mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, I’ve led several post-acquisition integrations that enabled seamless transitions of systems, structures, and cultures nationwide into the new entity. Given the hands-on nature of the construction industry, of notable interest is my track record for taking a systematic approach to workplace safety by building robust and scalable safety programs that ensure our employees return home safely at the end of the day. These loss control practices, which have been adopted by the industry, assure the board, investors, and regulators that our workforce and our physical assets are being judiciously protected.
