Essential Duties Included: Led games, crafts, and numerous activities during the camps and programs. Programs include Kids Club,(After-school care program) Kids Club Academy,(recreation classes within Kids Club), Recreation classes, and Summer camps. Planned Kids Club weeks, Rec Classes, Kids Club Academy Classes, and summer camp weeks created organized schedules and plans for every week or class responsible for. Plans and schedules include various games, crafts, and activities for children in the age ranges of 3-5-year-olds and 6-12-year-olds. Delegated support staff to certain tasks throughout the camps, promoted effective communication amongst one another, ensuring the camp sticks to the schedule and smoothly transitioning between activities, and promoting a fun and safe environment for all the kids at camp. Worked Facility Operations where experience gained in setting up/putting away for events and reservations within the facility, working with clientele for scheduled reservations, and answering customer questions regarding programs or facility use, and answering phone calls at the community centers. Worked and supervised Adventure Playground, a drop-in facility within University Community Park. Oversaw all the park patrons, conducted hourly park walks/trash pickups, resolved any conflict with parents or children, answered questions about the facility/policies and maintained the facility alone.
