    A Major in the United States Army Reserve and Admissions Officer for West Point serving four Congressional Districts in North Carolina. Mentors, evaluates, and recruits high school students for admission into the United States Military Academy. Direct advisor to U.S. Congressional Representatives regarding the appointment of future cadets to the Academy.One of three officers hand-selected from amongst fifty-four officers by The Field Artillery School leadership to serve as a Fire Support Instructor for officer entry level leadership training. Taught and mentored 30 Lieutenant students per class in fire support and leadership competencies.As a battalion fire support officer, managed and led a 38-Soldier Fire Support Platoon in support of collective training and operations throughout Germany and the Baltic region. Led a Fire Support Team of 7 Soldiers in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve in Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, a strategic deterrent to aggression towards NATO allies.Trained, led, and managed a 32-Soldier Artillery platoon for deployment to Afghanistan from Germany. Planned and led 60+ combat missions in Kandahar, Afghanistan including missions to advise Afghan Uniformed Police Commanders on governance, security, and geo-political issues to prepare them and their districts for Afghanistan\'s 2014 presidential elections.Awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
