Led the engineering and architecture of a mortgage broker start-up within Red Ventures called Sage Mortgage. Mentored many leaders within the greater Red Ventures organization- Created the mortgage origination platform leveraging monorepo technologies, React, GraphQL, SQS, and Lambdas in AWS- Led the implementation of a Loan Officer portal that leveraged the low code platform Retool. The Loan Officer portal serviced more than 100 loan officers at its peak. Leveraging low code, we built it with very few engineers- Proposed and led multi-tenancy implementation within the platform to leverage it for up to three different mortgage broker brands using the same code base- Grew the team from two to twenty engineers at its peak- Mentored many leaders within the organization on how to communicate, build networks, get messages across, and make better architectural decisions- Created a lead intake platform currently used by more than five verticals to test dozens of lead form iterations leading to tens of millions a year in revenue gain for the organization.
