I love leading technical teams to bring innovative therapies to patients in the clinic. Early in my career, I focused on developing purification processes to maximize manufacturing network throughput and minimize the cost of production for several monoclonal antibodies (including a conjugate for an infectious disease) with enormous projected market demands kg/yr). I also enjoyed collaborating with vendors to develop innovative bioprocess technologies, aiming to simplify manufacturing, improve process yields, remove challenging impurities, and enable higher concentration of drug substances.More recently, I have taken on the challenge of delivering novel formats (such as bispecifics, conjugates, and pegylated proteins) to rapidly enable Investigational New Drug applications (INDs) and first-in-human studies.
