Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of IT services across a complex, multi-site organisation, delivering resilient, scalable and secure infrastructure and systems to support over 800 users nationwide. Led the implementation of a new cloud-based telephony platform for 800+ users across 34 UK locations, including the integration of PCI-compliant card payments with Acturis, significantly improving customer service and operational efficiency. Successfully onboarded and integrated a 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), enhancing the Group’s cyber defence posture and incident response capability. Deployed Microsoft Intune to standardise and enhance device management, improve endpoint security, and streamline policy enforcement across the Group. Delivered a nationwide rollout of Cisco Meraki network infrastructure in partnership with a third-party provider, improving connectivity, manageability, and performance across key business sites. Oversaw and delivered the full IT integration of 34 business acquisitions, aligning infrastructure, systems and security to Group standards within defined timescales and budgets. Provided technical and strategic leadership to cross-functional IT teams across infrastructure, security, and support within a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensured compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks including PCI-DSS, while maintaining high levels of service availability and data protection. Acted as a key stakeholder in aligning IT capabilities with business objectives, driving operational transformation through technology.
