As the director of CIDT, I direct a department of myself, a full-time instructional technologist, and four student workers. I am an LMS (BlackBoard) Administrator. I create, copy, merge, and enroll courses. I troubleshoot technical problems with faculty, staff, and students. I assist instructors in creating courses including settings, instructions, video creation, and other content. I create and/or direct the creation of video bios for instructors and course banners. I train on technology tools and teaching techniques at a local, state, and national level. Ultimately, my role is to oversee the continuous improvement of online instruction at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
