Audit Partner and Head of Regulatory and Public Policy at Ey in the Uk Member of Ey\'s Uk Llp Board @EY

I am head of Regulatory and Public Policy for EY in the UK and a very proud member of the UK EY LLP Board. I am also pleased to Chair the Policy and Reputation Group, which represents the UK\'s seven largest audit firms. I have been with EY since 2002, initially working in the Transaction Advisory practice specialising in energy and utility companies. I moved to the audit practice in 2005 and became an audit partner in 2006. Since then I have been the audit partner on a range of clients but focus primarily on large businesses in the utilities and retail sectors. In 2011 I became the Head of Audit for our North region which includes offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen. In 2014 I became the COO for Assurance in the UK and Ireland and Head of our Extended Assurance practice. I trained with PwC and have worked in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Singapore and Washington DC. I have a LLB from Liverpool University and am a qualified Chartered Accountant. My family home is in Derbyshire and I enjoy holidays in the sun.
