Leading Technology Translation through Technology Transfer and Incubation as founding Director at AIC π-Hub RRCAT.* Full-time Researcher leading Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technologies at RRCAT.* Indigenously developed Laser-based metal 3D (Directed Energy Deposition & Powder Bed Fusion) machines and deployed these machines for building various engineering components supporting the AM eco-system in India.* Collaborating with leading Academic and Research Institutes in the domain of AM.* Recognised as one of the Top 2% most Influential scientists worldwide consecutively for the last six consecutive years in the list prepared by Stanford University, US and published by Elsevier B.V.* Having a substantial publication portfolio in Additive Manufacturing (1 Textbook, 26 book chapters,~150 Journal papers, 175 conference presentations),* Currently, supervising 4 Ph.D. students; and PhD degrees have already been awarded to 10 Students under his supervision.* My immediate goal is to lead the technology translation to industries/startups through incubation and pursue research in the area of Additive Manufacturing in collaboration with renowned universities (home or abroad), and industrial partners.* I love spending time with family, visiting historical cities/towns and hills.
