I have a strong passion for technology and innovating new IP.I am responsible for the P&L of the Battery Management Product Line at Monolithic Power Systems. Our strong and talented team develops high-current fully integrated battery charging solutions for a wide variety of applications. MPS has the highest power density silicon processes in the industry, which enables us to create lower cost and higher efficiency solutions than our competitors-I have extensive knowledge of DC/DC converter topologies, power train optimization, USB interface (Type-C and PD), battery technology, advanced digital algorithms, simulation software, and discrete components- Extensive system level knowledge of complete mobile power management solutions including USB BC1.2, Type-C, Power Delivery, battery charging, DC/DC regulators, charge pumps, LDOs, fuel gauging, over-voltage protection, load switches, and inter-chip connections and timing- Lead inventor of parallel charging technology utilized in many phones to create the fastest and most thermally optimized battery charging designs- Proven track record of defining several key battery charger products utilized in the top selling smartphones worldwide- Filed many patents dealing with DC/DC power train efficiency optimization and thermal management- Established and maintained relationships with customers at the top mobile OEMs worldwide- Technical marketing experience showcasing and defining products with customers in Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, and the US- Deep technical and marketing knowledge of the smartphone, tablet, and thin computing markets- Developed automated test software to control bench equipment which increased product validation efficiency
