About Christopher Speh

Retired private equity investor with 25+ years angel investment experience including Chair, Maine Angels for 4 years. I have 15 years entrepreneurial experience building and successfully exiting 2 North Carolina-based start up companies engaged in pharmaceutical drug development, the 2nd as co-founder and CEO. Prior to that, I helped build an international consulting practice from 5 to 70+ with Deloitte over the course of 4 years. I also have taught as adjunct faculty at 3 universities in NC. In addition, I have served as Chair or sat on the Boards of numerous non-profit agencies in Maine and North Carolina. I recently led negotiations and served as surviving Board Chair of Lift360 based in Portland, ME which emerged from the 2014 merger of Common Good Ventures and the Institute for Civic Leadership. I am a Certified SCORE Mentor and educator in the Portland, ME chapter of SCORE. In addition to undergraduate degree from Bowdoin, I hold 2 Masters level degrees.
