ABOUT CHRISSIE GORMAN FRANCONA

I love tackling big, complex problems for companies at inflection points (new funding, M&A, product/tech transformation). I guide companies and teams from chaos to cohesion by combining strategic thinking with actionable solutions.I am the Founder and CEO of The Long Game. We partner with fast-growing companies to close the gap between vision and execution for growth or exit. The Long Game taps into its network of 150+ experienced strategic operators to each client engagement. Recent client engagements have included FP & A forecasting and processes, M&A integration, process efficiency and automation, and M&A readiness.The inspiration for The Long Game came from my time at DraftKings, where I played a key role in developing the operating system that supported the company’s explosive growth—10x in revenue and headcount during my tenure. That experience taught me how to scale operations—without adding unnecessary overhead and maintaining the ability to be agile—and it’s the foundation of the playbook The Long Game brings to every client.Before founding The Long Game, I co-founded PowerForward, a B2B leadership development platform with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and legendary Duke men’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K). I led the company from idea on paper through launch and partnering with Cornerstone OnDemand to scale distribution. I started my career at Bain & Company, where I worked on a range of private equity diligences, and other strategy, pricing, and operational efficiency projects. I am a graduate of Duke University and have my MBA from Harvard Business School.
