Quick pitch for the Filmmaking program at SCF: In the two-year A.S. degree in Filmmaking, students are not only TAUGHT the fundamentals of development, pre-production, production [camera, lighting, sound, AD dept], and post-production, but they LEARN them through guided application. When they graduate, they are ready to set up their own freelance production businesses [if they haven\'t already] or to get work on professional sets as highly competent production assistants who can be trusted to get the job done.I am currently screening three short films at festivals: MONITORED (2024), REDUNDANT (2024), SHARPS (2023).
