ABOUT CHRIS PETERSON

As an accomplished professional with diverse experience in training, customer service, and policy analysis, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I hold a Master\'s degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor\'s degree in Spanish and Secondary Education, and an Associates degree in Arts & Sciences.For the past 17 years, I have been the Director of Product Training at Intermountain MLS, where I have facilitated the transition to new platforms and created web-based tutorials for new agents. I have also designed and conducted training sessions both on-site and in-house, and created curriculum resource materials for specific classes. My industry expertise is reflected in my CMLX I & CMLX II MLS industry certifications.Prior to my current role, I worked as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at the Idaho Child Support Operations Center in Boise, where I assisted in the opening and training of management and staff of the Baltimore City Child Support Center. I also provided support to clients, responding to their issues and concerns.In addition, I gained practical experience in public budgeting in a legislative setting as an intern with the Joint Finance & Appropriations Committee at LSO: Budget & Policy Analysis.Earlier in my career, I worked as a Help Desk Coordinator-Associate at Electronic Data Systems, where I was recognized as an Exemplary Contributor. I also gained management experience as a Bay Lead, mentoring and coaching other support agents by monitoring calls and responding to new agent concerns.My language skills include fluency in Spanish (written & spoken) and I have software familiarity with Macintosh Mac OS X, Windows, MS Office Suite, internet software, basic HTML, and basic XML. I am also proud to have completed a two-year LDS Service Mission.With a passion for delivering effective training programs and providing exceptional customer service, I am excited to bring my skills and experience to a new role.
