Experience
Vice President of Development and Events
Committee For A Responsible Federal Budget
Oct 2024 — Present · Washington, DC, US
During my time leading development at the Committee, I have more than doubled our annual attainment, including year-over-year gains every year since I started. I have also worked to increase our scope by creating several new philanthropic revenue streams, expanding our portfolio of active donors, and partnering with multiple new foundations. As an executive team member, I provide strategic input that shapes income goals and the creation of fundable initiatives, working directly with the President, Board of Directors, and senior policy team members. I manage and coordinate all fundraising activities, including leading the discovery, cultivation, and solicitation of major donors, foundations, and annual fund contributors. Additionally, I lead the events team at the Committee, which plans and executes all public events and speaking engagements. This portfolio includes several large public events like our Budget Bash, Fiscal Heroes, and Health Care Summit, as well as smaller development events, salon dinners, and online virtual events. These events reach thousands of people each year. We also ensure the Committee\'s work is showcased nationwide at major conferences and other speaking engagements.
