Chris\'s reputation is built upon advising clients in a range of fraught scenarios including:> acting for conglomeration of local Councils in defence of judicial review of planning permission for vital infrastructure project (both at High Court and Court of Appeal);> successful defence of a firm of architects involved in £multi-million legal action in respect of allegedly defective design of prestige housing development. This case was also the first instance in Northern Ireland of using Early Neutral Evaluation (Judge-led).> defence of architectural firm sued in respect of title problems alleging causing loss of £5m sale price of development land. Chris brought a specific point to hearing - after persuading judge that his client\'s interpretation of the relevant contractual provisions was the correct one, the case was resolved via negotiations> challenging £multi-million NHS procurement scheme in favour of client\'s interests> acting as Northern Ireland component of global defence strategies put in place for some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in the world> Successfully acted for a construction company in respect of fatal accident, providing advice from interview stage with police/HSE through criminal trial, inquest and ultimately civil claim > Successfully acted for an insurer in dispute with another insurance company regarding which was liable to indemnify. After giving early advice to our client, we guided them through an informal expert adjudication procedure, ultimately leading to the other insurer accepting full liability for the putative loss.> Defending surveyor\'s negligence case, successfully obtaining contribution from solicitors via third party proceedings.
