At Amazon, currently a top 5 company within the Fortune 100, I serve as the Corporate Controller, and report directly to our Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) as part of the senior leadership team for our global accounting organization. In my role, I assist our CAO in communicating key financial accounting matters to our CFO, CEO, Audit Committee. I work across all businesses at Amazon and must be a subject matter expert in many business domains for technical accounting and accounting policy, internal controls, indirect and income taxes and any other significant financial accounting and reporting matters that may impact the company. As a former audit managing director at a Big 4 public accounting firm prior to joining Amazon, I was responsible as the leader of client service teams to manage key relationships with CEOs, CFOs, audit committee and board members. Over my 17 years in public accounting, I gained broad and deep experience in serving large Fortune 500 to mid-sized publicly traded as well as venture- and private-equity-backed companies in a variety of industries. I have consistently proven to be successful in a fast-paced environment and recognized for excellent technical, project management, and organizational leadership and management skills.
