About Chris Polynin
As an executive leader with two decades of experience growing aviation and aerospace businesses, I am passionate about implementing strategic vision, operational excellence, and disciplined program execution. My background spans full P&L ownership of a $100M+ business unit, multi-year strategic planning, product management leadership, and the development of complex avionics and surveillance systems used across global commercial and military fleets in a variety of Engineering, Program Management and Product Strategy/BD roles. Throughout my career, I’ve led organizations through transformation—stabilizing supply chains, driving SIOP implementation, implementing Earned Value Program Management, building high-performing teams, and delivering sustained YoY revenue and EBITDA growth. I combine strong technical depth with pragmatic business acumen, enabling me to bridge engineering, operations, and customer needs while accelerating product innovation. I’ve partnered with global OEMs including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, General Atomics, Northrop Grumman and Gulfstream, negotiated major contracts, and served as executive sponsor on several technology-defining initiatives including ADS-B In, next-generation surveillance architectures, and UAM/eVTOL strategies. As our UAM Executive Sponsor I oversaw multiple trials to enable Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) and autonomous eVTOL operations. In addition, I led the coordination with our partners to deploy beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) solutions that enabled drone inspection and delivery services.
