ABOUT CHRIS PELKOLA LEE

Chris Pelkola Lee is a nationally recognized industry leader and Broker/Owner of simpLEE HOME® in Idaho Falls. She enjoys leading and collaborating with others, blending a transformational and democratic leadership style. Her experience has led to invitations to serve on various boards leveraging her reputation and providing opportunities to serve a variety of initiatives that drive her.Chris is sought after for her perception, acuity and strategic planning experience which includes chairing a recent CEO hire for a national organization-an opportunity to define and enshrine a new path forward for the next 7+ years for the organization. She has most recently served as the 2023 National President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, whose mission is to advance women as business leaders in the industry and the communities they serve.Chris has built upon her passion of guiding clients through the potential pitfalls and inherent risks in the real estate process and now also mentors other agents in growing their own businesses and rising to their full potential. Chris founded simpLEE HOME® on the belief that marketplace reputations matter, empowered agents can be change agents and leaders in their communities, and a ‘community first’ mindset benefits our neighbors as well as the economic success of our region. Here we seek to partner with agents who reinvest their time, talents and funds right back in our shared community and to be the ‘go-to’ brokerage our neighbors turn to when they seek to buy or sell…with the goal of bringing greater prosperity across the board.Chris has seized the opportunity to leverage her experience in local, state and national industry leadership and is a committed and trusted community leader, currently serving the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency. Prior service includes serving as a founding member of the Idaho Falls Police Foundation (Treasurer), the Idaho Falls School District Facilities Steering Committee, the Idaho Falls Police Department Facilities Evaluation Committee (Chair), the City of Idaho Falls’ IDAHome project (to increase housing choices across the City of Idaho Falls). She has spoken locally about housing at events for the City, Rotary, the Idaho Innovation Center, REDI (Regional Economic Development for Eastern Idaho), the Urban Land Institute and was recognized in 2021 as a recipient of the Mayor\'s Choice Award for Community Enrichment in Idaho Falls.Chris is honored to have been recognized by her peers as the 2018 REALTOR® of the Year by her local Association. She is a licensed broker in Idaho and Wyoming.
