Build | Deploy | Support | Maintain Amazon Facilities Network Infrastructure. Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues between enterprise networking devices. Implement Cisco switches, Routers & Servers within a production environment. Manage and develop a team of technicians, cultivating their skills through coaching. Point of contact, in escalating high severity issues that need immediate troubleshooting. Coordinate with operations or vendors to successfully execute any on-going projects. Create documentation to prevent recurring issues and apply new standard operating procedures. Lead monthly Regional Engineer Call for knowledge sharing and collaboration on high-priority projects.Key Contribution- Part of the first Tiger Team cohort that was responsible for migrating over 300+ sites in the United States to the new network stack- Tiger Team role was to migrate IDF and MDF to new infrastructure during a full 24-hour shutdown window in Amazon Building- IDF Responsibilities included configuring all Cisco 9500 & 9300 switches in Cabinets, rewiring fiber uplink connections and downlink connections and depending on site – Migrate over from stacked model to distribution and access layer model- MDF team responsibilities included migrating from Cisco Catalyst 4510 to new aggregation routers that consist of Cisco 9500 stacks, rewiring downstream links to the distribution switches in IDFs, rewiring connections for MDF servers and devices to new aggregation routers- Assist in troubleshooting any network related migration issues. Notable issues include DHCP bugs that was prevalent during migration, troubleshooting Cisco ISSA3k and IE2k Issues, and configuration issues on access switches.
