I was appointed to establish and lead a Bid Management function for Valiantys, designing the operating model, governance, and tooling from the ground up to support Valiantys’ rapid international growth.Working closely with the Executive Team, I created scalable bid governance, deployed automation and analytics across the pipeline, and embedded AI-driven capabilities into every stage of the bid lifecycle. The result is a data-led, high-performing function that improves efficiency, quality, and win-rate across strategic pursuits.Key Highlights• Built the Bid Management Department from inception to a centre of excellence within 9 months.• Designed and implemented end-to-end bid tooling: structured libraries, automated workflows, reporting dashboards, and Salesforce/Confluence integration.• Led development of AI-driven bid tooling: automating content creation, red-team review, deliverable analysis/tracking and compliance.• Achieved over 40% reduction in bid mobilisation time through automation and improved process discipline.• Partnered with C-suite and Sales Leadership to align bid strategy with business objectives and resource planning.• Recruiting, mentoring, and development of high-performing Bid Managers, and Coordinators.
