Throughout his career, Chris has gained exposure to multiple areas of capital markets and covered numerous disciplines from strategy and business operation, through to business development and product sales, across Equities, Futures, Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Delta One, and Electronic Trading. He has demonstrated a technical savviness to both systems and processes, which he has combined with an ability to define strategy and manage the implementation of complex initiatives. Chris has overseen businesses directly as the manager, and in a Chief Operating Officer capacity. Alongside the day-to-day operation, he has continually pursued avenues to manage costs and create efficiency, leveraging changes to process, practices and technology, driven through an overarching lens of partnership. His current role sees a return to the Prime Brokerage business with a focus on aspects of Risk and Margin.The breadth of Chris’ experience demonstrates his ability to adapt to new areas of focus, quickly learning the details while applying the same proven discipline to the role. He is used to working collaboratively with near, and remote teams, and has been successful in managing outsourcing initiatives, defining operating structures and success metrics. Additionally, he has shown a natural propensity for vendor management with time spent on the technology provider side of the business rounding Chris’s view and approach. Chris has been an active industry participant, as a panelist at events at FIX, FIA, CSTA and STANY, as well as at smaller round-table discussions. During his time with a Technology vendor, he regularly provided thought leadership through LinkedIn, and Tabb Forum, and has been quoted in articles across various media outlets. He has served as a Board Member on the FIA Markets Technology Division, managing the groups response to issues such as CFTC Regulation AT, and changes to exchange market data policies. He has also served on Nasdaq Futures Exchange Business Conduct Committee during the startup of the exchange. Chris currently holds the Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.
