About Chris Natale
Principal AI Engineer focused on building reliable, composable AI systems.I specialize in designing and shipping agentic AI architectures that can plan, generate code, evaluate outcomes, and iteratively improve their performance in production environments.Over the past 18+ years I’ve built software across the full stack, but in recent years my work has centered on AI infrastructure. This including dynamic code-generation systems, evaluation frameworks, and task-oriented agent architectures that allow AI systems to perform complex real-world workflows.At Picco I led engineering efforts for an AI GTM platform built around autonomous task generation and execution. My work included designing the code-generation pipeline, building evaluation and metrics systems for reliability, and developing composable task modules that allowed AI agents to dynamically learn new workflows.I’m particularly interested in problems at the intersection of:• AI evaluation and reliability • agentic systems and autonomous workflows • program synthesis and code generation • scalable architectures for AI-driven automation I enjoy building systems that combine rigorous engineering with exploratory research ideas, and I’m especially drawn to environments where engineers have the freedom to push the boundaries of what AI systems can do.Open Source:https://github.com/cnatale https://huggingface.co/cnatale
