About Christopher Meditz

I began my career as a Medicolegal Death Investigator in 2010 with the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office in Youngstown, Ohio. While there, I became certified by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) and was on the county’s Homicide Task Force and Traffic Fatality Review Board. I also completed the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Forensic Science Training Program. I joined the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office Investigation Unit in November of 2013. I am on the CCMEO Education Committee, the Commander of the CCMEO Disaster Response Team, a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, and a member of the Southeast Regional Task Force - Fire Investigation Unit. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology and Forensic Science from Youngstown State University. Prior to that, I spent three years studying Anthropology and Behavioral Psychology at Kent State University.
