As part of GreenShield’s Enterprise Clinical Office, I design and optimize healthcare services that improve patient and caregiver experiences while supporting organizational innovation and quality goals. ABOUT CHRISTOPHER MAKRIS
My professional career has evolved from my desire to understand and simplify the user experience. My formal education in business design and human-centered design principles, coupled by my ethnographic experience and empathic personality have uniquely come together to enable me to create new and novel innovations for clients. To ensure these outcomes support a bottom line, my theme of a user-centric approach is underscored by sharp business acumen that results in actionable business strategies for my clients working in diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.My passions include emergent technology, such as blockchain, AI and their applications to IoT and in other business contexts. Working with the Creative Destruction Lab in Toronto, I have leveraged this exposure in emergent technologies and aided in its application within new ventures, building business strategies and launching pilot projects to refine the products and services offered.I welcome new experiences and exposures as well as meeting people, and channel this by attending local design and tech Meetups and playing sports—no matter what the season!I am open to discovering new opportunities and starting new conversations - feel free to message me!
