I am a Senior Associate at Debenhams Ottaway in St Albans, specialising in all areas of Private Client law, predominantly Wills, Trusts and Probate. I am a Full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an Accredited Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a member of the Law Society’s Private Client section.My expertise includes the following- Probate and the administration of estates- The preparation of Wills- Inheritance Tax advice- Estate planning - The protection of assets for future generations- The creation and administration of Trusts- Powers of Attorney - Property matters including transfers of equity, assents and declarations of trustI assist individuals and their families, at all levels of wealth, as well as business owners and trustees.My approach is to deliver a personable service for clients, to ensure that their matters are handled promptly, accurately and sensitively, and to present legal advice in plain language that is easy to understand.I studied Law and Spanish at the University of Sheffield and qualified as a solicitor in February 2014. Prior to joining Debenhams Ottaway in January 2024, I worked at Tollers in Stevenage for 7 years.I am currently enrolled on the Notarial Practice Course at UCL, studying towards becoming a notary.
