Manage Independent Credit Review and Enterprise Risk Management Teams- Lead Independent Credit Review of all Commercial and Consumer business units (21)- Identify direct, indirect, and emerging credit related risk along with improvement recommendations throughout the Bank - Confirm external reviewer documentation and analysis (i.e. reports, workpapers, etc) provide adequate support for conclusions- Provide senior management and the Board of Directors with information regarding the identification, measurement, and management of credit risk quarterly (ICR activity and Portfolio Asset Quality)- Monitor annual ICR plan progress and changes- Manage third party credit reviewers, engagement budget / staffing - My regular interaction with BU leaders is establishing rapport with our key stakeholders. Listening to wants and needs, then delivering on key initiatives is enhancing my credibility. My style is collaborative, but commands respect. Leveraging this enables me to act in the best interest of GRC, my team and the Bank. Engage with OCC, Internal / External auditors to discuss GRC process, mitigants, and policy Serve as SME on special projects / targeted reviews outside of traditional exams.Lead, develop, empower team of five (5) – I provide vision and support to my team in executing on overarching management objectives. I am a servant leader with my team in helping them define their career path, giving them visibility and a voice to senior GRC leaders, expanding their influence by demonstrating the benefits of regularly engaging with their assigned business units, and by encouraging them to ‘Find a better way’ in improving our policies, procedures, and processes.
