About Chris Lankford
I\'ve been in insurance and risk management for about 15 years. I have served as a Director for the Dallas chapter of the CPCU Society and am an active member of RIMS DFW. My industry experience has involved claims handling, contractor/vendor risk compliance, risk professional team management, insurance procurement, agent/broker liaison, sales support involving prospective and existing customers, and internal training and development. On a professional level, I have been known for my energetic and positive attitude, problem solving skills, and innovative approach to challenges and decision making. I am passionate about leadership and our industry, and constantly look for opportunities to improve and grow myself, as well as those around me. That said, I always make time for family, friends and focus on personal health and well-being. My interests include travel, reading, chasing our two pups around the house, mindfulness activities, movies, football, hockey, international soccer and most of all spending time with my wife of over 15 years.

My duties span traditional insurance and risk team needs including management of our captive, handling WC/EPL/GL claims, contract/COI review for customers, lenders, and vendors, and handling complex specialty lines of coverage such as Builder\'s Risk, Pollution Legal Liability and D&O. I am also learning more about Enterprise Risk Management, and have goals of supporting these needs within our company throughout my career here.
