ABOUT CHRISTOPHER RICHARDSON

Christopher Richardson is a Communications Manager at Resolve to Save Lives, where he leads communications for epidemic prevention efforts including the New York Times-featured “Epidemics That Didn’t Happen” report. His articles have reached tens of millions of readers around the world. Christopher joined Resolve from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, a science philanthropy headquartered in New York City. There, he led communications for programs advancing scientific research, technology, public engagement, and higher education. Previously, he led digital communications for medical doctors at a Royal College in London, England, and for a science and technology graduate university in Okinawa, Japan. He has also worked in pharmaceuticals, technology startups, and management consulting, and brings a wealth of experience with nonprofits in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Christopher holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Science Communication from Imperial College London, where he also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the university’s quarterly science digest. He is an associate of the Royal College of Science in the United Kingdom and a member of the National Association of Science Writers in the United States, and a dual citizen of both countries. Christopher lives in Miami Beach, Florida. When he isn’t making the world safer from epidemics, you can catch him training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and salsa, enjoying a cold plunge, or running on the beach.
