ABOUT CHRIS J. NELSON
I am an Associate Director and Producer at TNT Sports in Atlanta and have been in that role since September 2021. I spent the previous two years as an AD/AP at NBA TV (also operated by TNT Sports). I have spent my entire career in sports television production at Turner, initially working as a font coordinator for live games and studio shows from 2010 to 2019. I filled the lead graphics role on many of Turner’s biggest shows and tent-pole events, such as the Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA, NBA All-Star and Conference Finals, MLB Postseason, March Madness and Final Four, the ELEAGUE Major, and the PGA Championship. While attending Georgia State University in Atlanta (graduating with a Bachelor\'s Degree in broadcast journalism), I operated my own Miami Dolphins blog and worked as a freelance writer for fantasy sports website KFFL.com. Additionally, I contributed articles to Bleacher Report, which provided me with a unique insight working for Turner upon its acquisition of Bleacher Report in August 2012.
