ABOUT CHRISTOPHER HARPER

As an Account Executive at Microsoft, I help commercial organisations shape and realise their digital transformation journey through close partnership, societal purpose, and a keen desire to help them achieve their strategic objectives. I simplify their journey with Microsoft by orchestrating our teams to best support their needs across our various solution offerings, recommending industry-specific partner solutions that drive real value for them, and offering thought-leadership on how Microsoft can partner with them in the Built Environment. In my role as an Account Executive, I enjoy leading design-thinking led sessions with my clients to truly understand their challenges to formulate solutions that develop their business capabilities. I have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance and Investment Management from Northumbria University, and I have worked with Microsoft for eight years across various roles in Finance, Commercial, and Account Management. I have developed core competencies in account management, sales leadership, financial management, and commercial negotiation, and I have delivered valuable commercial solutions to fulfil my clients\' technology objectives and priorities. My financial background provided me with impactful experience such as working closely with retail partners and internal business stakeholders to monitor revenue, marketing expenditure, and inventory control to provide solid and accurate forecasting. I am passionate about leveraging my finance and investment background as well as my digital transformation expertise to help organisations succeed in their markets and make a positive impact on society.
