About Christopher Hockaday
I work in blockchain infrastructure and emerging technology development focused on decentralized systems, hardware, and payments. I contribute to the Cardano ecosystem through DripDropz and Adosia LLC while also co founding several technology initiatives. I am the creator and core developer of Morley, an open source decentralized ladder logic smart contract programming language for the Cardano blockchain. Morley bridges traditional industrial automation logic with decentralized systems, helping engineers and automation professionals build smart contracts using familiar ladder logic concepts. I am a co founder of SE7EN Labs Inc, a technology development firm building hardware and software that connects decentralized networks with real world infrastructure. I am also a co founder of riverArk, which develops payments infrastructure for modern digital asset ecosystems. Within the Cardano ecosystem I am a founding member of DripDropz, the leading token distribution platform on Cardano responsible for more than five percent of network traffic. My work includes integrating real world hardware with blockchain infrastructure, including event systems built on Hydra scaling technology where I contribute as a hardware developer for Hydra Events. At Adosia LLC development focuses on decentralized manufacturing and practical IoT systems including hydroponic agriculture, capacitive touch security systems and visual monitoring technologies designed to integrate with distributed networks. My background also includes extensive industrial automation experience with Pepsi Bottling Ventures and Apex Tool Group, working with large scale automated manufacturing and packaging systems including robotics, palletizers, bottling lines and industrial control systems. Outside of blockchain development I operate OHM Electronics, which specializes in boutique audio equipment design and manufacturing. I have spent most of my life in the radio control aviation industry as a designer, builder and manufacturer. Active in the hobby since 1993, I have designed several model aircraft and brushless motors along with numerous supporting components. These motors have been used in applications ranging from R/C vehicles to UAV platforms including systems operated by the United States military. Earlier in my career my family owned Scootworks and East R/C in Zebulon, North Carolina for over two decades. There I worked hands on as a metal fabricator, machinist, welder, custom builder and painter, gaining manufacturing experience that continues to influence my work today.
