Developed ESD-free dissipative space wire and cable using nano-carbons • Launched film adhesives for ultra low energy surface (ex, PTFE) to hydrophilic substrates • Launched long carbon fiber reinforced (LCFT) avionic enclosures in collaboration with new molding process of extrusion-compression and injection-compression • Developed nano-carbon / carbon fiber hybrid composites for EMI application • Developed thermal barrier for 1100C using aerogel technology • Developed proprietary lamination technology to enhance arc tracking resistance • Led material projects to investigate the effect of voltage, temperature and altitude on arc tracking, partial discharge and corona endurance for e-mobility • Investigated advanced metallization technologies including LDS, conductive spraying, e-printing for antenna and lightning strike • Co-developed thermal management of composite enclosures under SBIR Phase I & II and joining technology using welding and adhesive in collaboration with external research institute • Managed adv. material group and developmental projects using StageGate
