ABOUT CHRIS HAMEL BURRAGE
After dedicating my life to music and music education, I fell in love with engineering when I disassembled my car’s transmission to replace a bearing. Since my mother was a career flight attendant and my uncles helicopter and fixed wing pilots, I was particularly interested in flying machines and the aerospace industry. During my engineering degree, I was fortunate to be part of a talented team of engineers designing remote controlled aircraft to compete in the SAE AEROdesign competitions. The design of air vehicle structures and gas turbines really became my passion and was the main focus of my specialization. It’s funny how life works since I’ve returned to my initial calling in my current job with MDA space technology; however, instead of producing vibrations with a guitar, I now analyse vibrations!
