About Chris Hall

I\'ve been a working Digital Intermediate and Finishing Colorist since 2007 (including 2 years prior experience serving as freelance cinematographer). My color correction credits include numerous feature films, national commercial campaigns, and television broadcast credits. I have always felt that color correction should be an extension of the cinematographer\'s intent from a compositional and lighting standpoint and not merely a tool to alter the image haphazardly at the end of a long chain of events. I\'m a firm believer that color correction is a necessary step in the filmmaking chain and the only way to fully realize the potential of an image in the digital age.
