Oversee planning, budgeting and forecasting for all external art production, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and proactive risk management- Build and grow the internal External Development function by hiring, mentoring and supporting team members to succeed alongside our partner studios- Lead the overall strategy, structure and day-to-day operations of external art production across multiple vendors and disciplines- Introduce ShotGrid to the studio and lead the design, planning and implementation of the entire External Development framework, including securing and managing external consultants to help build scalable workflows- Create, manage and maintain the full External Development wiki and documentation ecosystem, ensuring clarity, accessibility and alignment with diverse cultural backgrounds, learning styles and non-native English speakers- Evaluate and onboard studios through pilot phases that simulate real production, assessing quality, communication and long-term compatibility- Develop scalable outsourcing workflows, pipelines and documentation to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support predictable production at scale- Organise and lead on-site vendor visits to strengthen relationships, support onboarding and set partner teams up for long-term success- Produce clear briefs, references and process documentation that translate art direction and technical expectations into actionable guidance for external teams- Collaborate cross-disciplinarily with internal teams to review, validate and integrate external content into the game.
