Passion and keen intuition have led me on the path to success” From humble machinist to the helm of a top-tier, aerospace manufacturing company. Galik’s initial start in manufacturing began at a technical high school near Warsaw, Poland. He immigrated in 1985 to Italy and shortly thereafter arrived on U.S. soil in 1986 ready to make a mark. He started working as a tool maker for a small job shop in Newington, CT. where he was introduced to the world of aerospace manufacturing. A strong work ethic and acumen for the manufacturing process enabled him to take advantage of new found opportunities. Galik rapidly learned every facet of aerospace manufacturing. From the handling of raw material to inspections and final delivery, he immersed himself in every process. He soon found himself in a managerial role overseeing multiple departments. Opportunity and passion came together in 1997 when Polamer Precision was founded in Newington, CT. Galik’s startup was comprised of only two employees, a few machines, and an abundance of vision housed in a small industrial condo. Although growth was initially slow, his instinct led him to prepare his new enterprise for an upcoming ramp up in aerospace manufacturing. In the subsequent time under Galik’s leadership, Polamer Precision expanded multiple times and within twelve years occupied square feet with twenty-five employees. Cutting edge technology and innovation became the cornerstones of the business. The next phase of Galik’s vision began 2012 when he broke ground on a new, state-of-the-art facility in New Britain, CT. This location would soon become the world headquarters for Polamer Precision, housing top talent and the latest in machine tool technology. Today, Galik is the CEO and President of Polamer Precision. His company employs 230 individuals and spans two locations just under square feet in total. Clients include Pratt & Whitney, Hanwha Techwin, GE Aviation and other global leaders in aviation.
