Progressing through several positions since joining RPS in 2022, I now manage and continue to assist with a portfolio of large-scale strategic residential and employment projects, guiding them from conception to approval.In my current role, the primary focus of my work is centred on strategic planning, with expertise in local and development plan representations and site / land promotions. Through this I champion client interests whilst aligning with community needs to craft compelling arguments to unlock land potential. I drive projects towards optimal outcomes with clear communication.Part of my role included a 6-month secondment as Construction & Engineering Senior Adviser at Scottish Water, working with Scottish Water Horizons which is focussed on developing renewable technologies on SW assets, from solar through to hydropower.

I work primarily in strategic land promotion, I play a key role in delivering large scale residential and commercial planning applications and related policy work for both immediate and long-term land interests. I support a wide variety of clients from landowners, developers and promoters, by preparing robust representations for Local Plan consultations and developing tailored strategies to promote land and development opportunities. A critical part of this often involves analysing and challenging Housing Land Supply position statements, and site-specific Grey Belt assessments to unlock development potential.With a strong foundation in both consultancy and local government, I bring a well-rounded perspective to planning. My approach is grounded in a deep understanding of planning policy, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
