ABOUT CHRISELLE DSOUZA

Passionate individual with a dedicated interest in networking, media relations, digital media, stakeholder relations, event management and research. With strong writing and interpersonal skills, I create solutions specific to an audience. I believe direct communication and engagement are effective problem-solving techniques. My academic career, work and travel experiences have enhanced my communication skills. I am enthusiastic about interviews, focus groups, personal selling, social media engagement and pitching to media. I believe that engaging and empowering an audience results in a successful, meaningful and sustainable business. I am involved in mentorship programs, event management committees, community development projects, evaluation research groups and media strategy teams. The tactics I have implemented include: communication plans, media kits, media lists, social media audits, Hootsuite, speeches, crisis communication documents, matte stories, brochures and promotion plans. I have assisted news media stations at motorsport events, led 11 subcommittees at Humber College’s sixth annual alcohol awareness event, created an engaging exhibition space and live-tweeted international expos. I value information and innovation. I am open to continuous learning and challenging work environments.
