Lead and manage all front-end planning and pre-development activities for the Income Producing Properties and Communities divisions.Core responsibilities- Lead statutory planning processes/amendments for new neighborhoods and future development properties- Support due diligence investigations on new acquisitions with a focus on potential development/redevelopment opportunities and well as formulation of critical paths to entitlements- Identify and navigate risks associated with acquisitions and existing lands including, market, environmental, legal and regulatory- Lead entitlements for new developments and redevelopment projects- Lead and participate in public consultation and engagement efforts including public hearings- Lead, participate and/or coordinate development concept creation, detailed planning and designs for Income Producing Properties and Communities projects- Participate in budget and proforma development and assessment for proposed project concepts- Identify and develop strategies to capitalize on development synergies with adjacent property owners, business owners, public agencies to enhance new developments and the community at large- Identify and foster potential development partnerships with agencies, local governments and potential key tenants- Identify and evaluate new market/product segments for potential integration into future projects- Collaborate and support executive leadership with potential acquisition strategies.
