ABOUT CHRISTOPHER DOEGE

I love connecting people with one another. Whether it be finding the perfect hire and introducing them to my team or introducing potential future business partners, I simply love making connections happen.I specialize in Technical Recruitment (software engineers are my strength) with a good understanding of AI, Blockchain, Data, UI/UX Design, Marketing, Customer Success, & Sales; that said I will tackle anything that gets thrown my way. I kind of fell into recruiting back when I first graduated from UBC with a degree in sociology. I am super fortunate to be one of those lucky people who stumbled into something that turned out to be a true passion. I love the tech industry and I love meeting great people. I started my career in agency tech recruitment where I hired from small to enterprise level clients. Since then, I\'ve worked at startups of all sizes and even spent some time at Meta / Facebook on their remote hiring team. These days I focus mainly on Seed to Series B companies and I\'ve worked with VC portfolio companies such as Greylock, First Round Capital, Battery, Madrona, Index, A16Z, Venrock, & Canaan.I am a consultant / advisor, typically working with a few early stage startups at a time. I love helping companies scale up recruitment tools and processes from the ground up or help with mentorship, coaching, and leadership within that space. I\'ve been a First Recruiter a few times now and I\'ve seen what challenges exist for a company of 4 and a company of people.
