Administer the County\'s Enterprise GIS which resides on Amazon’s AWS (Amazon Web Services) platform. In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise software including Portal, ArcGIS Server, Image Server, ArcGIS HUB, and Enterprise Geodatabase Management on SQL Server. Proficient in AWS architecture as it pertains to EC2 instances, Relational Database Service (RDS), S3 storage, including patches, backups and all related networking. Also tasked with developing mobile and desktop applications using ArcGIS QuickCapture, ArcGIS Collector, ArcGIS Dashboards, Storymaps and GeoCortex Essentials. Support for many of these applications is done using Python scripts I’ve developed to run after hours. Through County initiatives, I was given the opportunity to engage and become familiar with UAS (Drone) system. I obtained Part 107 Remote Pilots Certification and have flown over a dozen projects and processed imagery that is used in GIS and throughout the County. I work collaboratively with my team to find GIS solutions for everyday government processes. Not only do we engage cross-departmentally within the County but strive to partner with and lead by example for other municipalities we work with. Below are some of the major topic areas/projects I have been involved in during my time at Waukesha County. • Start to finish Implementation of an Enterprise GIS using AWS and esri ArcGIS Enterprise • Automated backup, maintenance and Geoprocessing processes using Python and SQL • Developed an application for ArcGIS QuickCapture that served as a design template for ESRI’s development team.• Application development Esri ArcGIS Online, VertiGIS (GeoCortex) • Drone integration into departmental infrastructure and environmental projects and initiatives.
