ABOUT CHRISTOPHER DELLA FAVE

During my experience in the public sector, military, and non-profit industries, I have found that sustainable community engagement drives operational efficiency, executive goal attainment, and constructive change in extraordinary ways. Integrating strategies rooted in sustainability and providing enriching leadership are the ways I strive to contribute professionally and personally. As a leader, my success in team building and organizational development within a classroom, office, and government settings stems from seeking out honest feedback, engaging employees, and instilling a sense of purpose to enhance day-to-day and long-term goal fulfillment. After graduating from college, I joined the United States Coast Guard, led a team of 76 personnel, and served on numerous emergency response teams. I was honorably discharged, and since then, I have built upon the sense of duty and commitment to improving one’s environment that I gained. I am proud to be a part of programs and organizations that promote social, cultural, academic, and ecological awareness in our society. I have utilized my master’s in Sustainable Studies and a master’s in Educational Leadership to incorporate positive policy and operational changes in new and unique programs. Leading programs efficiently is also something I am dedicated to, and I manage programs’ related financials, budgeting, personnel, marketing strategies, and communication efforts. In my free time, I am also committed to supporting life-long learning and community engagement. I enjoy hosting potluck dinners, reading, breath work, paddle boarding, surfing, hiking, and adventuring.
