35 years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering with a strong focus on mission flight engineering design & operations project management, conops development, orbital maneuver design & planning, mission preparation and mission execution. Career highlights include- Participation in over 45 satellite operations activities as an Astrodynamics engineer, over 20 as the orbital team lead. One of two astrodynamics engineers who participated in the recovery of two stranded satellites in low earth orbit by planning and executing well over 200 maneuvers in order to lower the 2 satellites into the Shuttle orbit- Leader of two satellite operations teams (80+ engineers) as a Mission Director, including the first Boeing 702 satellite- Mission manager for the GPS IIF program- Wrote astrodynamics software that has been used world-wide to operate Boeing satellites- Designed the Boeing Mission Control Center operations facility layout (2007-8)- As department manager of the 100+ person mission organization, oversaw over 40 satellite operations project teams and led the revamp of flight operations processes resulting in increased mission success and fewer operational problemsSpecialties: 1.
