ABOUT CHRIS COBEN
Qualifications Chris is an accounting professional with approximately 14 years of relevant experience. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010 and joined RSM Canada\'s predecessor firm as a full-time articling student in September 2010. Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 2013, was promoted to Audit Manager in September of 2014 and Senior Audit Manager in September of 2017. He joined RSM Canada in November 2018 on its Transaction Advisory Services (Deals) team and transferred to RSM US in its New York and San Francisco offices during 2019 to help support and build its technology practice. He departed in September 2021 and has since worked on various domestic and international projects including capital raising, debt refinancing, financial modelling, financial reporting, accounting research and process improvements. He currently works in accounting policy at a leading Canadian energy company and is based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
