ABOUT CHRIS CHIDLEY

Specialist People Services is a diversified recruitment group bringing together businesses that share a common commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and compliance standards. We help our customers to maximise the productivity of their workforce, by providing recruitment services, classroom-based and online training, and other people management services. Businesses within SPS Group include Driver Hire Nationwide, ISS Labour, Driver Hire Training, Driver Hire Australia and our e-services division, which includes dh Licence Check. Hire is the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company. We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and training. We supply drivers and logistics staff to companies throughout the UK. Franchise opportunities are also available. I took over as Driver Hire’s Chief Executive in October 2004. An accountant by profession, prior to taking up my current position, I worked for GE Capital in the UK and overseas, Avis Rent-a-Car and, most recently, was the Strategy Director at Kingston Communications plc. Under my leadership, Driver Hire has continued its focus on quality, compliance, training & development and, of course, expansion.
